What Is XUMM?

XUMM (pronounced “sum”) is a non-custodial wallet for XRP Ledger. It’s:

Setting Up XUMM

Step 1: Download

Get XUMM from official app stores only. Beware of fake apps.

Step 2: Create Account

• Open app and tap “Create Account”
• Write down your secret numbers (CRITICAL)
• Verify by re-entering them
• Set up PIN/biometrics

Step 3: Fund Your Wallet

• You need ~10 XRP for the reserve requirement
• Buy XRP from an exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, etc.)
• Send to your XUMM address

The Reserve Requirement

XRP Ledger requires a minimum balance (~10 XRP) to activate wallets. This isn’t a fee—it’s locked in your account and returned if you close it.

1. Go to Settings → Trust Lines
2. Add the CRYPTO token issuer
3. Confirm the transaction

1. Visit CryptoLand game
2. Click “Connect Wallet”
3. XUMM app opens with sign request
4. Approve the connection
5. You’re in!

Common Issues

“Not Enough XRP”

You need XRP for reserve + transaction fees. Add more XRP.

“Trust Line Not Set”

You need to add the token’s trust line before receiving it.

“Transaction Failed”

Usually insufficient balance. Check XRP and token amounts.
