Choosing your first Avatar in CryptoLand is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make. Each class offers completely different gameplay, earnings, and strategies. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Four Avatar Classes

Army Class: The Raiders

Army avatars are the warriors of CryptoLand. They raid castles and steal from the Thieve Pool.

  • Subclasses: Foot Soldier, Spearman, Archer, Cavalry, Blacksmith, King’s Guard, Knight
  • Earnings: Thieve Pool + Castle Raids
  • Play style: Active, PvP-focused
  • Risk level: Medium (raid outcomes vary)
  • Best for: Competitive players who enjoy combat

Miners Class: The Extractors

Miners dig for Cryptonium Ore and refine it into CRYPTO tokens.

  • Subclasses: Pickman, Hauler, Operator, Explosives Expert, Foreman
  • Earnings: Mining ore → Refining to CRYPTO
  • Play style: Active, resource management
  • Risk level: High (50% theft rate on unrefined ore)
  • Best for: Players who like grinding with high reward potential

Nobles Class: The Governors

Nobles govern the realm and collect from the Tax Pool.

  • Subclasses: Esquire through Duke
  • Earnings: Tax Pool distributions
  • Play style: Semi-passive
  • Risk level: Low
  • Best for: Players wanting steady income without constant attention

Artisans Class: The Crafters

Artisans (currently Blacksmiths) forge weapons, armor, and refine ore.

  • Subclass: Blacksmith
  • Earnings: Crafting fees + selling equipment
  • Play style: Economic/trading focused
  • Risk level: Low
  • Best for: Players who enjoy crafting and marketplace trading

Which Should You Choose?

Ask yourself:

  • Want daily rewards? → Start with Land, add Noble later
  • Want active gameplay? → Army or Miner
  • Want to support the economy? → Artisan
  • Want low risk? → Noble or Artisan
  • Want high risk/reward? → Miner
