Weapons & Armor Guide

Equipment is essential for combat success in CryptoLand. Army avatars who raid without proper weapons and armor are at a severe disadvantage. This guide covers how equipment works, how to get it, and how to optimize your loadout.

Equipment Types

Weapons

Weapons increase offensive power for raids:

• Swords, axes, spears, bows
• Each weapon type has different stat profiles
• Created through the Forge action by Blacksmiths
• Require component items to craft

Armor

Armor increases defensive capabilities:

• Helmets, chest pieces, shields, boots
• Reduces damage taken in raids
• Created through the Fabricate action
• Can be made without combining components

Equipment Tiers

Equipment comes in rarity tiers affecting power:

Note: You can only Forge or Fabricate items up to Unique tier rarities.

Forging Weapons

The Forge action is performed by Blacksmiths (Artisan class).

Forging Process

1. Gather component items (handles, blades, etc.)
2. Components must match the target tier
3. Blacksmith performs Forge action
4. Components combine into finished weapon

Forging Requirements

• Must own a Blacksmith avatar
• Need appropriate component items
• Pay CRYPTO cost for forging action
• Higher tier = more expensive components

Fabricating Armor

The Fabricate action creates armor pieces.

Fabricating Process

1. Blacksmith performs Fabricate action
2. Select armor type to create
3. Pay CRYPTO cost
4. Receive finished armor piece

Unlike forging, armor fabrication doesn’t require combining separate components.

Getting Equipment

Method 1: Craft It

• Own a Blacksmith avatar
• Gather materials
• Forge weapons / Fabricate armor
• Best for: Players with Blacksmith avatars

Method 2: Buy from Marketplace

• Browse player-listed equipment
• Pay CRYPTO for ready-made gear
• Instant acquisition
• Best for: Players without Blacksmiths

Method 3: Loot Boxes

• Open Loot Boxes with keys
• Random equipment drops possible
• Some rare items only from boxes
• Best for: Luck-based acquisition

Method 4: Raid Rewards

• Successful raids can drop equipment
• Quality varies by raid difficulty
• Best for: Active combat players

Equipment Strategy

For New Players

1. Start with Common/Uncommon gear
2. Buy from Marketplace if no Blacksmith
3. Upgrade gradually as you earn
4. Don’t overspend on top gear immediately

For Serious Raiders

1. Participate in Rare or better equipment
2. Consider owning a Blacksmith for self-sufficiency
3. Match weapon type to raid strategy
4. Balance offense (weapons) and defense (armor)

For Blacksmiths

1. Craft equipment to sell on Marketplace
2. Higher tiers = better earnings margins
3. Watch market demand for pricing
4. Supply Army players with needed gear
